The Story
A fever dream pulled straight from the tangled, sleep-drunk pages of Finnegans Wake: dense, heady, and unapologetically alive.
Rose de Mai spills open first, lush and a little overripe, drizzled with sticky gold honey. Banana and cognac slip in beside it, fermented and warm, half-fruit and half-breath, like the leftover air of a long feast. Then the pulse picks up. Ylang ylang turns narcotic and sweet, cumin and clove rise like skin damp from dancing, and hawthorn flickers through in a green, half-remembered way. Atlas cedar and Mysore sandalwood sit low and sun-warmed, like the worn boards of a room countless feet have crossed. Walnut adds a dusky, nutty hush. Golden ambergris and deer musk thread through it all, salty and animal and close. Frankincense and benzoin curl around the whole thing like incense caught in a coat.
Ripe, sweaty, sweet, broken, shining. Made for crowded rooms, long nights, dancing barefoot, and the messy joy of being among people.
