The Story
Sunlight filters through broad plantain leaves, casting dappled shadows on warm earth.

A vivid homage to green plantain, that beloved cultural staple found from West African markets to Caribbean kitchens. The air hums with freshness—crisp citrus brightens the moment, while warm spices add depth and complexity. Aromatic florals weave through like a gentle breeze, softening the green intensity before deep, resinous balsamic woods anchor everything in grounded elegance.

Top: Green Plantain Accord, Bitter Orange, Lemon Zest
Middle: Lavender, Jasmine Petals, Juniper Leaf
Base: Cedarwood, Amber Woods, Sandalwood, Violet Accord

The Brand

Ilé Olomu is a distinguished fragrance house founded by Bawo Ijirigho, great-grand nephew of Nigerian agricultural pioneer Nana Olomu, weaving family legacy, culture, and memory into modern perfumery. Fragrances rooted in West African heritage and crafted in Switzerland, the brand transforms personal narrative into carefully composed scents — grounded in the textures, rituals, and richness of the cultures that shaped its founder.

Each fragrance was co-developed in Zürich in close collaboration with master perfumer Andreas Wilhelm, whose depth of expertise and artistry helped bring these scents to life. The result is where West African storytelling meets Swiss perfumery — refined luxury, rooted in heritage.

Ilé means "house" in Yoruba — a word chosen to reclaim roots. Named in honor of Nana Olomu, Ilé Olomu is not just a house of scent. It is a house of heritage. The brand's own words capture it best: Etched Memories. Bottled Emotions.
