The Story
The smell of rain that has already fallen.
Mist moving through green, laid over rolling hills and streams that take their time. Sun-dappled glades, oak trees old enough to have watched the place change, leaves rustling and a bird somewhere further off. Wildflowers along the paths. A symphony of peace, and unspoiled, and nothing dramatic happening anywhere in it.
Bergamot and holy basil come in green and faintly sacred. Ozone does the work of the weather, the pressure drop just before or just after. Then humid earth, and the green fronds themselves, wet and cool and close to the ground. Wet woods, oakmoss and sandalwood settle it into damp soil and soaked timber rather than into anything warm.
