The Story
The sun god Ra sailed the underworld every night so the world could have morning.
That is the story this was built around: the Egyptian myth of Ra, who died each dusk and was reborn each dawn, who fought the chaos serpent Apophis in darkness so that light could return. It is a solar creation with that same quality — warm and luminous, clean the way bleached cloth is clean, but with real weight underneath. Ambrette brings a softly musky, powdery warmth, something skin-close and alive. Tuberose runs through it not as a cut flower but as living heat. Myrrh anchors it all in something ancient and resinous, the smell of ritual and amber-lit stone. The linen accord is the daylight element — bright, airy, grounded — the first rays landing on a sun-warmed courtyard after a long night.
It is luminous without sharpness, and carries underneath it the deep, unhurried gravity of a story told since the beginning of time.
