Divine Intervention

A golden afternoon where everything suddenly makes sense.

Warm milk and soft caramel settle into vanilla orchid and ambrette musk, and what they leave behind is creamy and close to the body. A date accord and styrax wood out of Honduras sit down there with them.

Tobacco, cinnamon bark from Sri Lanka and cardamom grown in Guatemala make a comforting warmth. Casablanca lily softens it. A delicate nutty accord is layered in, intimate and familiar.

Above them, rose damascena and apricot unfold in a soft, luminous bloom. A gentle brightness emerges, warm and inviting, as the sweetness begins to take shape on skin.

Liberation of Flowers puts physical art and liquid art in conversation. Ashley Longshore made the artworks that go on the bottles. The Monette Series, one of Longshore's most intimate bodies of work, is petals abstracted and suspended at the moment they start to unfurl. The three fragrances inside are the work of Christophe Laudamiel, who takes the medium beyond luxury and treats it as one for emotion, intellect and storytelling.

Sima Sistani founded the house, having built Houseparty and led WeightWatchers. Persian heritage is threaded through all three releases and it is Sistani's own, Iranian-American, from the culture that gave the world rose water, oud, saffron and amber long before the modern industry existed. Naturals come from their native ground, and carefully chosen safe synthetics do what nature cannot provide alone. The bottle is built to sit out on a vanity.
