The Story
Milk sits in among the cedar.

Awareness grew inside walls that could be felt and never seen. Borders without contrast, and definition without meaning. Then it started pushing, out of the box and into a wider existence with no boundaries left in it.

Freedom and sensation, and a refusal of the usual that never apologises for itself. The ultimate expression of selfness, beating its own drum and boldly free, with bystanders lifted along by charisma and proxy.

Basil, cardamom and cumin give it a green, dusty heat, and cypriol pulls that toward smoke. Violet cools it. Milk does the odd work here, rounding cedarwood and sandalwood into something soft rather than dry, and musk carries the rest.

The Brand

Stereotype's first collection is four releases dedicated to people, alike and incomparable. They sit in one territory, musky and woody and ambery and spiced, and every one of them speaks with a voice of its own. All four are made in France, with a different hand on every one of them. One language, many accents, and four separate ways of speaking it.

The name comes apart into one reading and no more. Stereo, meaning multi-dimensional, and type, meaning the person, and it declines to finish the sentence. What it makes turns the box inside out and looks past the rote perspective for the strange and unusual. Daily life dulls the senses. This is built to work against that, and life's beautiful oddities get taken as they come rather than tidied away.
