The Story
A modern word for March, and for lush vegetation sprouting anew.

The landscape awakens from its winter slumber, brimming with sudden, vibrant vitality. Golden yuzu hangs upon the boughs like shimmering stars where spring meets summer. Tender green shoots peek from branches, ripe citrus lies scattered through the orchards, and the earth is clothed in a fresh gown of emerald.

Blackcurrant and red berries sit beside the yuzu. Neroli and lilac at the centre, ambrette underneath.

The word describes not merely the revival of nature but the triumphant spirit of life bursting forth under the sun. It belongs to a period of Japanese history as well, roughly 300 BCE to 250 CE, when material culture moved forward in a single leap and human wisdom lived in harmony with the natural world. A beginning, twice over.

Leather labels curl naturally as they settle — this is expected, not a defect.

The Notes
The Brand

An independent Chinese house, founded in 2024, working in Asian light salon fragrance. The house has its own perfumer in-house, working in a Japanese method. Every bottle is meant to be exact and playful at once, and every release has to do two things: stay recognisable worn day to day, and smell like nobody else's.

The releases are numbered in one sequence, with names in Latin, Japanese and plain English, and two of them are built as a pair. Restrained, intellectual and deliberate. The bottles do not match each other: one wears a paper label, another a debossed collar band. 3D technology sits beside the philosophy of living, and the poem of smell, the art of sight and the love song of touch arrive as one thing. The digital visual design carries half of a release.
