The Story
Two agarwoods, and no barn in either.
Laos gives spiritual depth and pure woodiness. Prachin, from the Khao Yai region, is smooth and classic to its type. Neither has been fermented. Mysore sandalwood stands with them, smooth and creamy, almost lactonic.
Patchouli forty-six years old as of 2026, its camphor faded out. Haitian vetiver adds a grounding effect. Thujopsene is a clean cedar, not pencil shavings. Small doses of yuzu and ho wood and a trace of spicy pepper add an indefinite brightness. Resins, frankincense sacra and myrrh among them. The musk is vintage, and it is there to fix and round rather than to add anything animal.
