The October full moon draws us to it's supermoon glow.
The first supermoon of the year rises as the Hunter’s Moon, casting its silver spell across the city and stirring up all that’s been waiting in the shadows. It amplifies our call, our purpose, and our intent. This moon, like a cosmic editor, asks us to release connections, patterns, and behaviors that no longer support our growth.
We make everything about fragrance—what can we say, we’re broken clocks...and proud of it.
Through our evolving discovery, we try to move out of our comfort zones, but, as we always say: if you love it, lean into it. Not every horizon needs broadening; sometimes, growth simply means honoring what truly moves us.
Expansion for expansion’s sake? Maybe that’s just capitalism in new packaging. We’ll take a sprinkle of it to get by, sure—but this month, let’s collectively focus on the projects where the art glimmers brighter than the sales pitch. Maybe it’s time we let go of those brands that churn out Halloween scents only as a seasonal stunt. Maybe we ghost viewing this world as just a spreadsheet of data points.
Let’s cut ties with energies that don’t nurture our growth. And in classic New York style, let’s refuse to spend one more minute on anything that doesn't enrich our lives.
Prioritize who we are, prioritize our own growth. In the end, we’re always our greatest advocates—and maybe, just maybe, we knew that all along.
We cordially invite you to the Stéle Full Moon October Edition.
We gather on October 4th from 3–6pm, both online and in-store at 179 Mott Street, for our October edition—featuring an extra special gift with purchases of $200+ from Ode Ona.
Our DJ for the event is none other than branqueeno, a Queens-based house music DJ and producer, known for high-energy sets inspired by Chicago and New York’s dance music roots. A fitting pairing for Stéle.
The overwhelming support for our monthly events has given us that energy we need to keep going, so thank you all who have attended - the vibe is always right when you're there.
And, what's a supermoon without a supersized gift with purchase?
Whether you're attending our event or browsing from afar, we've got a special gift for you from ODE ONA with purchases over $200+.
This discovery set features three thoughtfully crafted vials—Carte Blanche, Everjet, and Dawn Earth—each blending mandarin, sage, sandalwood, patchouli, and more for a clean, grounded feel in a sustainable, travel-friendly set.
Without further ado, we're excited to share some of our favorites as of late with you - new entries & timeless favorites.
Now at Stéle. New indie fragrance favorites.
Andrea Maack celebrates 10 years of independent perfumery with Neon Veil.
We are living in the era of bright florals, and this fragrance channels future-forward indie scents into a neat ‘90s flacon.
These are not grandma’s florals; they glow and shimmer, like halogen poised to ignite. It may take a minute to catch fire, but once it’s ablaze, it brightens up everything it touches. The age of bright florals is here, wrapping the headwinds of indie perfumery into a sleek vision of tomorrow. Waiting for a scent that makes us feel ready to light up the world? This is the one.
The return of Urania at Stéle in Williamsburg proves florals can be bold and unapologetic.
Flowerotica takes the reigns and really stirs up trouble. Peach, cherry and orchids on a base of vanilla, leather and velvet—imagine being freshly showered and laying as the universe made you in a fluffy comforter of the most luxurious fabric. This handcrafted London creation seduces like a forbidden bloom, with its lush, provocative blend that opens with nectarous fruit and settles into a mysterious trail of tobacco leaf and precious woods .
Is there a more fitting brand for this supermoon than Voyager?
Founded by Thai perfumer Nutt Wesshasartar, Voyager celebrates discovery for its own sake, inspired by the spacecrafts that dared beyond boundaries.
We won’t single out one fragrance—this is about choosing courage. Think of the concept, read the notes, and take a gamble—you will not be disappointed. This house rewards curiosity and goes where no other brand has gone before.
From the beginning, we’ve been captivated by Miskeo - an independent Berlin atelier.
An archaeologist once asked us for a “dig scent”—something evocative, layered, and thought-provoking. They wanted something that when experienced stimulates thought, something that when experienced tells a story.
Pistil was our answer, and it remains a fragrance that awakens history in our minds—it stimulates thought and makes you see things that may have happened, now visible thousands of moments later in time.
Created by Montreal-born, self-taught perfumer Marie-Pierre Blanchette, Miskeo’s collections continue to sell out in minutes, proving some brands feel like destiny.
Perfume Who is a house that quickly captured our hearts and has become a Stéle favorite.
If you have not explored this line, we beg you to delve deep—creator Hannah Wu is incredibly talented, and this is just the beginning. Meshes of the Afternoon, with its intoxicating blend of fig, rose, and honey, has us hooked. We’re becoming slowly addicted to honey notes, and here it’s green, floral, and elegantly sweet—like thick honey slowly swirling into a warm cup of tea. The way the fig, rose and honey are blended are beyond.
Poetry in scent. Grab the discovery set to explore.
The latest arrival to Stéle, and guess what? Bañomaria sold out in days!
This genderless fragrance line founded by Christel Mena has roots in Latin America but was dreamed up in New York. The perfumer on the project is Stéle family—Gus Romero is an integral part of the NYC fragrance community, and his work is showcased in some of our top sellers.
Finca has captured our hearts, inspired by the founder’s childhood in Honduras where his grandfather had a finca—it’s spicy with a soft aromatic coffee note, and the dry down is creamy and strongly comforting.
East River Run is inspired by a basin placed in the founder’s washroom as a child, filled with florals to brighten their day with aromatic water. This is your fresh shower scent, period stop.
Fragrances from luxury home brand L'Objet foray into the Stéle landscape.
We always loved L’Objet decor—when the fragrances came around, we couldn't help our curiosity. When we smelled the work, we were impressed and glad - they really pay off. With perfumer Yann Vasnier (who created Frassai's Blondine) behind the project, the line brings real credibility.
We’re utterly smitten with Côté Maquis: salty, smoky, creamy, and refreshingly masculine when we need to lean into that side of life.
Chronotope has finally joined the Stéle family—don’t ask us why it took so long...
Created by perfumer Carter Weeks Maddox in his Florida studio, this house sparkles with fragrances that have a bunch of notes fighting for attention, yet somehow they all simmer down into a symphonic blend. Don’t miss the FIRST artichoke fragrance, Spite—and we can verify the timeline on this innovation.
Don’t sleep on Buen Camino either—it reminds us of loading up in a classic Chevy pickup and driving down to Virginia in summer, where leather grates on your nostrils after a few hundred miles, and for the rest of your life, leather and warm cola will always recreate that ride.
We’ve expanded our beloved Thai perfumer’s collection, and we love Tada Parfumer—if you’ve come into Stéle, you know we rave.
Created by Tada Archawong, these fragrances have a bold and inspired perspective. They’re not afraid to see concept and chase the end to a completely unique experience. There are too many winners to mention, but Vanilla Mystique and Latakia are going to be our ride or die this winter.
Latikaia is a boozy, sweet, smoky gourmand—so strong you will clear a train car. If you needed any gourmand this year, this would be it. Vanilla Mystique gives us sister vibes, where the vanilla and rum sits in singular motion, as if the components were always meant to be together.
Anood debuts with a fresh, cosmopolitan perspective—born in Bahrain and crafted in New York, each fragrance bridges the warmth of Eastern tradition and the edge of sophistication.
Sunny 7 shines like a carefree sunny afternoon, mixing cool vanilla ice cream with pistachio and an unnameable tang; Thorny 6 delivers bold, spicy oud that’s far from watered down, channeling the spirit of Bahrain with a punch; and Deep Dive 1, inspired by pearl diving, adds a salty, pearly shimmer reminiscent of the sea’s mysteries. Created by NYC-based Gus Romero, this collection is proof that with every spritz, boundaries become more about connection than separation.
Last, but never least - Ānti makes its U.S. debut at Stéle!
The fragrances are reconstructed from historical events and their corresponding scent profiles. They are beautifully crafted and transportive.
Bast has completely captivated us; it draws from the original fragrance with remarkable depth. Spicy fragrances are notoriously difficult to execute—everyone claims to have one, but this one truly delivers.
Nashi Toro also stands out with its rice notes and luscious pear accord. These fragrances are imaginative yet wearable enough to become your daily go-tos.
