The Story
This perfume is a star at night.

It contains more than 36% vintage, incredibly aged animalics, and the hero of the blend is a decades‑old Siberian deer musk. Accompanying it are others such as white and gold ambergris, civet, castoreum, and other naughty notes.

These notes are prized because they:
· Amplify sensuality
· Improve tenacity
· Smooth sharp edges

Its scent is not a clean, laundry-white musk. Instead, it’s warm and bodily—behaving like a powerful spell cast upon those nearby. It evokes the scent of warm flesh and seduces abundantly. The blend feels attractive, even magical.

This luxury collectible was inspired by a memory of a night out in the City—the aroma of sensuality and splendor at 3 a.m.

Each wearer will experience something different depending on their skin’s chemistry, the atmosphere, and the surroundings. Some will find it delightful and robust (though never beastly); others will find it soft, romantic, and sublime. Whatever you perceive, it is pure sensuality.

Among the animalic notes is a large dose of Hindi oud—aged, smooth, and never barnyard‑like. This type of oud adds an opulent richness: both fluent and refined.

Enhancing the musk and oud are delicate florals—barely perceptible rose otto and jasmine—that smooth any rough edges, leaving a pure sense of delicacy. Adding further depth is a touch of oakmoss, lending tenacity and longevity. Its aroma will seduce you and those around you as it rises from your skin, inviting others closer.

Unlike other types of musk, Siberian musk blended with these notes exudes ambery warmth—golden as it settles. The composition weaves florals and resins together, while the musks and oakmoss extend the dry‑down beautifully.

It is night, bottled. And it will delight you.

The Brand

Lupus & Vega is an American independent perfume project that describes itself as an “odorant artist’s project brand,” creating mukhallat‑style fragrances—dense blends where multiple oils and aromatics are mixed directly, rather than built in a traditional top‑heart‑base pyramid—to wear as intimate stories on the skin.

In perfumery, a mukhallat is a concentrated composite of materials such as woods, florals, resins, and musks, designed to be experienced as a seamless tapestry rather than as clearly separated layers, which aligns with the brand’s focus on behavior, texture, and atmosphere over classical structure.

Composed and narrated by artist‑perfumer Joe, each scent, including creations like Upstate, NY, 12‑year old smoking, and sorine red, is rooted in specific memories, places, and people, turning autobiographical moments into richly blended, non‑linear compositions that feel more like olfactory films than conventional perfumes.
