Cut clear, and the clear ones are the fresh and piercing end of what the house makes. Salt, iodine and cold mineral, under something dry and yeasty.

House of Atropa makes fragrances and cuts the glass they go in. Elisabeth Andrék does the cutting by hand. What draws Andrék is glass, ice and crystals, everything transparent and sparkling, and the work of René Lalique. The idea is to take the strange, and even the little ugly, and make it beautiful and attractive, while preserving and reimagining the beautiful traditions of the past in a visual aspect. Not mass production.

Andrék went looking for unusual natural ingredients, and for ways to extract exotic plants, working with certified producers of absolutes and essential oils. Every piece cut from glass is hand made, and each is an exclusive piece. The glass is the tell. Its transparency and brilliance, or its milky nebula, or a poisonous neon glow, will say what is inside.
