The Story
October arrives on a cool wind, carrying the sweetness of an orchard already turning gold.

The first impression is pure nostalgia — sweet and tart peach candy, the kind handed out at a harvest fair, bright with a flash of citrus. As the chill settles in, something deeper rises: patchouli wrapped in dark chocolate, earthy and a little decadent, like cocoa melting beside fallen leaves. Smoke curls through it all, palo santo glowing warm and resinous against the cold. White musk softens the edges, leaving the feeling of a wool sweater pulled close on a grey afternoon. It is the season distilled — fruit and earth, sugar and smoke, the last warmth before winter. It suits slow mornings, long walks, and the kind of light that only comes when the days grow short.

The Notes
The Brand

Ghost Stories Parfums began with founder Kelton, a longtime fragrance collector frustrated that no one was making the highly-themed, gothic, folklore-inspired scents wanted for a personal collection — so self-taught perfumery followed. Kade joined soon after, and together they built an independent fragrance house out of Utah Valley, devoted to scent as inherited story.

Every fragrance begins as a specific legend or ghost story, translated into scent and catalogued the way a case file might be — a structure the brand makes explicit through its Paranormal Research Department line. Each formula is narrative-driven and hand-crafted in small batches, matured for weeks before it ships. Folklore is treated as raw material, built on the idea that scent reaches the same part of the brain that holds memory, able to resurrect a place, a season, a presence long thought forgotten.
