Early Modern is made in Glasgow, assembled in small batches by Clara Weale, and the work is openly interested in what things are physically made of. Materials get named for what they are rather than dressed up, and each one keeps paring itself back toward a single gesture.

What comes out sits between a memory and a texture: ordinary British weather, ordinary rooms, built from materials few people expect to find in a bottle. This is the easiest way to meet the collection before choosing a full size.
