A descendant of Sudanese independence fighters with ancestral roots on Aba Island in the White Nile, Tayshaba was built around a conviction that beauty should be a truth — not a convention. After studying olfactory design in Grasse and Paris, Maiada turned to the ancient perfume traditions of Sudan as raw material, reimagining centuries-old recipes through a singular lens. The brand's name fuses "Taiasha" — a fierce ancestral tribe — with "Aba," the island at the center of the family's history, arriving at the phrase that drives everything: Fierce Beauty.
