Gardenia Absolute

In a garden warmed by late sun, a single gardenia unfurls its creamy white petals.

Its softness feels almost edible — smooth, milky, and full, the flower caught at its most lush through a rare extract prized for holding the living bloom. Around it, a rose grown in Azerbaijan lends velvet depth, osmanthus brings a soft breath of apricot, and ylang ylang adds a golden richness. A green flicker of mango leaf and a spark of ginger keep everything bright and alive. As the hours pass, the flowers melt into warm wood — Indian sandalwood, a smooth thread of white oud, and the sweet comfort of tonka and vanilla. Musk and a trace of ambergris settle in, tender and glowing.

Amer Perfumes is a small independent house. Amer Alradhi founded it and creates every release, sourcing the ingredients from around the world, and the work sits between Arabian fragrance heritage and modern olfactory artistry. The materials run to Taif rose, Thai agarwood, Indian and Indonesian sandalwood, Azerbaijani and Bulgarian rose, and an aged South Thailand agarwood oil.

Alradhi calls each new release a very personal project, and one of them took nearly two years to finish, using many precious and expensive natural materials including flowers, agarwood and sandalwood. The work is story-driven, built on craftsmanship, authenticity and refined blending, and every release carries a strong identity and close attention to detail. Everything is crafted with care from high-quality ingredients, and the line goes from bright citrus florals to heavy aged oud.
