The Story
There was a version of this before, and it was good enough to leave alone.
He made it again anyway. Same shape, every part replaced with something rarer and harder to find. Petitgrain still cuts in green and bitter, with ambrette seed pulling it toward skin and oak moss and aged patchouli laying wet ground underneath. What changed is the weight. Tobacco absolute and deer musk carry more body than before, and the cinnamon, nutmeg, saffron and tonka bean worked through them land dry and hot. Indian oud sits underneath and keeps the shape. The rest leans on it.
