Fragile, luminous, and a little strange.

A cool brightness rises first, like pale light touching porcelain and the sharp sparkle of citrus in morning air. Soon the feeling softens. Creamy warmth settles in, touched with salt and the powdery hush of iris, like cotton against skin and the faint trace of something human and intimate.

As time passes, the world turns quieter and more mineral: dust, concrete, and warm skin tones wrapped in smooth white musk and glowing woods. It feels both earthly and unreal, like encountering a flower that could only exist in memory or dream.

Fischersund is a family-run perfumery and art collective that invites visitors into a sensorial world where scent, sound, and visuals converge to create a deeply immersive experience. Founded by musician and perfumer Jónsi Birgisson of Sigur Rós and his sisters Lilja, Inga (Ingibjörg), and Sigurrós, the brand weaves their creative disciplines into handcrafted fragrances inspired by memory and the wild Icelandic landscape. From their intimate space at Fischersund 3 in downtown Reykjavík, they craft vegan perfumes using Icelandic herbs and oils, composing each scent like a song—balancing notes to evoke nostalgia, place, and emotion in every bottle.
