Kismet Olfactive, a New York City-based fragrance studio, was founded by bohemian-perfumer Shabnam Tavakol.

Drawing inspiration from her background as the daughter of Iranian immigrants and the concept of “kismet” (fate) from the Persian “qismat,” Shabnam translates life’s serendipitous moments into wearable scents.

The brand’s creations include the Common Ground collection, now available to experience in person at Stéle, and the celebrated Classic collection.
