Narcotic flowers, sad skin heat.

JINX Frog Funeral Elixir de Parfum

Size: 30mL
.

Hot and humid, a tingle of pink and Timut pepper over blackcurrant, citrus, and a strange carrot‑seed sweetness that already feels a little unsteady.

Soon, creamy Mysore sandalwood rises like warm breath from your collar, wrapped in lush tuberose, blue lotus, and damp roses that blur floral beauty with something animal and slightly unhinged.

As time pass, the mood turns darker and more devotional: oakmoss, oud and frankincense smoke, myrrh, and bushman’s candle coil around vintage Kashmiri deer musk and a touch of beaver, like walking away from a late‑night roadside ceremony, sweat on your back and a love story you’re not sure survived.

It feels made for people who like their Mysore creamy but corrupted, who reach for floral‑animalic blends when they want something beautiful that admits it’s a little doomed.

Top: Pink Pepper, Timut Pepper, Black Currant, Citrus, Carrot Seed
Middle: Tuberose, Myrrh, Bushman’s Candle, Rose De Mai, Turkish Rose, Patchouli, Nutmeg, Iris, Lily Of The Valley, Blue Lotus
Base: Vintage Govt. Mysore Santal, Oud/frankincense Co-distillation, Myanmar Oud, Oakmoss, Amber Accord, Vintage Kashmiri Deer Musk, Siberian Deer Musk, Beaver Tail Oil

The Brand

JINX is an oud‑centric, all‑natural niche perfume house from upstate New York, known for powerful, animalic compositions that challenge what natural fragrances can do in projection and longevity. Founded and operated by perfumer Arthur Clayton Emrick—who honed his love of chemistry and experimentation through beer and wine making before turning to scent—the brand crafts full‑spectrum, multi‑dimensional perfumes using only natural materials and no aroma‑chemicals. Emrick runs JINX out of Canandaigua, New York alongside his wife, creative director Jackie Emrick, and their friend Annie Gordinier, whose design and digital work help bring the house’s transportive, oud‑driven storytelling to life.
