Ghost Stories Parfums Harvest Moon

The wind moves through bare branches, and somewhere close a twig snaps under a careful foot.

Far off, a tavern glows warm, its laughter carried thin across the cold night. This is the hour when the things that roam after dark step into the open, drawn by the wide gold face of the full moon. Spiced cardamom and nutmeg rise first, like something simmering over a fire. Then come worn leather and a curl of tobacco, dark cocoa folded into smoke and resinous wood. Amber glows at the edges, steady as embers. It carries the feeling of old folk tales told by lantern light, of autumn gatherings and cool air thick with woodsmoke and a little mischief. Familiar yet a touch wild, it feels like a story that refuses to end before midnight.

Ghost Stories Parfums is an independent fragrance house in Utah Valley. Kelton had collected fragrance for many years and wanted highly themed gothic and folklore-inspired fragrances for a personal collection. The house began as a concept in the summer of 2024, and from that idea Kelton studied the craft alone. Kade joined, and their first batch went to friends, family and local customers at the farmers' market.

Every release starts from a spooky tale, a legend, a myth or a piece of folklore, and each is built to be narrative-driven and wearable. The formulas are original. The fragrances are made from naturals and synthetics, at extrait concentration as a rule. The batches are small, crafted by hand and matured for at least three weeks before they leave. Folklore and legend are the medium, inherited stories that shift, fracture and endure, and through fragrance they are used to explore memory. A fragrance can bring back something long buried, a place, a season, a presence.
