Citrus peel splits open in a shadowed room, the oil bright and biting against still, cool air. Smoke drifts in from somewhere unseen, thin at first, then thick enough to catch in the back of the throat.

Juniper adds its own sharp tingle, needling through the brightness, while a low warmth gathers underneath, resin catching light and growing heavier as the citrus keeps glowing above it. Iris settles the edges, soft and powdery, calming the smoke's rough grain. Cedar deepens everything below, giving the whole thing weight and a slow burn.

The mood shifts from a sunlit morning market to a dim room lit only by embers, brightness and shadow trading places without ever fully letting go of each other. What lingers is contrast: zest cutting through resin, resin softening zest, neither one winning.
