Growing up minutes from one another yet never
meeting, Alissa and Leslie each collected perfume in
tiny boxes. They were fascinated by the jewel-like
quality and transformative nature of their treasures.
Alissa, trained by the famed classical perfumery
school ISIPCA in Versailles, and Leslie, an artist and
self-taught perfumer, founded Liis as a creative expression
using scent as medium after connecting abroad. Each
scent composition tells a story, drawing on personal
experiences, emotions, and perspectives as inspiration.
Genderless and worn daily as a second skin, Liis invites
the wearer to experience and interpret scent as they
wish — building a landscape where anything is possible.
Made from exceptional, conscious ingredients and
organic sugar cane alcohol, Liis is cruelty-free, vegan,
