In the air, a slow shimmer of aldehydes catches the last light—clean, cold, almost electric—before armoise and nutmeg melt into the sweetness of plum and the grit of iron. Somewhere inside the quiet, resins gather: myrrh, olibanum, labdanum, opoponax—each glowing like amber inside smoke. The air turns dense, animal, edged with oakmoss and Tonkin musk. It feels like dusk stretched taut between tenderness and menace, a room holding the echo of something just burned and the breath that followed.

Riverbero emerged in September 2025 from New York City as a fine fragrance venture by autodidact perfumer Cara Tortoriello, who hand-formulated its debut crystalline scents—Glasswing and Hollow Point—over two years.

Housed in subtle clear glass, these evoke fragile-yet-strong butterflies and syrupy violins, blending naturalistic whimsy with quiet confidence in a cruelty-free, IFRA-compliant world of indie poetry.
