Warm tobacco, clove, and cinnamon thread through that sweetness, adding a slow, smoldering tension that keeps you paying attention rather than fading into the background. As it develops, creamy vanilla and tonka pair with bitter cacao and orris to create a plush, slightly powdery veil, while dried fruit and heliotrope push the richness right to the edge without turning sticky.

Silver ambergris and cedarwood bring a cooler clarity and dry wood underneath, grounded by resinous benzoin so the whole wear feels like moving between comfort and unease. In Phronema Audition, that contrast of soft vanilla, tobacco, and woods turns familiar sweetness into something stranger and more hypnotic.

Phronema Perfumes is a fragrance project conceived in 2020 as a series of olfactory works that honor the ancient roots of scent imagination. Each composition is approached with deliberate abandon, allowing the perfume to shape its own architecture, even at the perfumer’s expense.
