A warmth lingers in the air, soft as skin after sleep. Lavender folds into musk and the faint sweetness of ambrette, like the ghost of an embrace still hovering behind. It feels both dressed and undone, polished yet tender, as if borrowed from someone beloved long ago. You wear it not to announce yourself, but to leave something gentle and human in your wake—something that remains when you’ve already gone.

ORMAIE is a family-owned house of French Haute Parfumerie founded by Baptiste Bouygues and Marie-Lise Jonak. Creativity, excellence and time sit at the centre of what it makes, and the work is personal before it is anything else: a father's lavender and the Armenian paper always kept in a pocket, a leather bookmark carried on travels, the wooden desks of the school the founders went to.

Every release is built from raw materials chosen for quality, and no colourings are added: the colour of an ORMAIE juice comes solely from the ingredients in it. The house has brought together artists and artisans to write each chapter of its story. The newest, Les Facettes, sets faceted glass under a metal cap whose colour and material echo the containers a laboratory uses to keep raw materials pure. A balance between emotion and precision.
