The Story
Eyes black as tar guard the demonic force imprisoned within.

The same fictional world, seen from its other pole. Religion is at the centre of it, and through religion the house explores two opposing poles: faith in salvation, and destruction. The circle draws on cult worship, destruction and evil, and what is imprisoned inside this one is demonic.

The liquid is heavy, built around leather and oud, brutalist in its sheer mass. Agar is agarwood, the wood oud comes from.

The Brand

Profundum is the work of Dominik and Bartek, an artisan fragrance house from Poland. Each bottle holds their own memories: a childhood of woodland adventures and evening bonfires, the still nights of the Polish countryside, the incense of summer church services. The fragrances are challenging, rebellious and deeply evocative, narratives that reveal rather than conceal, uncompromising and authentic. A diary kept in bottles, one that transcends time.

The first two releases were written as characters, personifications of painful memories. The next two turn instead to a fictional world of the house's own making, with religion at the centre of it and two opposing poles, faith in salvation on one side and destruction on the other, marked with the cross and the circle. References to culture, literature and art give that world its depth and make it easier to enter.
