The Story
You start at the Campari bar beside the cathedral, that bittersweet red liqueur still on your breath as you step into the cool hush of Milan’s Duomo.
The air folds around you in curls of church incense, frankincense and myrrh rising like pale smoke against vaulted shadows. Powdery spice, labdanum, and cedarwood trace the feel of worn staircases and carved stone, dusty, ancient, and just a little smoky.
As you move, amyris and papyrus add a dry, papery warmth, while that echo of Campari lingers—a quiet toast to reaching the rooftop and whispering “wow” over the marble rail.
