The Story
A father's lavender, and Armenian paper in the pockets.

The founder's father wore a beautiful lavender. A dimension was missing, until the Armenian paper always kept in the father's pockets came back to mind.

It's the touch of vanilla that brings the paper out. The lavender is charismatic and the whole reassuring, with a gentle elegance.

The House

ORMAIE is a house of French Haute Parfumerie founded by Baptiste Bouygues and Marie-Lise Jonak. Creativity, excellence and time sit at the centre of what it makes, and the work is personal before it is anything else: a father's lavender and the Armenian paper always kept in a pocket, a leather bookmark carried on travels, the wooden desks of the school the founders went to.

Every release is built from raw materials chosen for quality. The house has brought together artists and artisans to write each chapter of its story. The newest, Les Facettes, sets faceted glass under a metal cap whose colour and material echo the containers a laboratory uses to keep raw materials pure. A balance between emotion and precision.
